variety in the Cavy world is just Another word for the color and texture of the guinea pigs hair.

Each variety will vary depending on the breed.

Here are some new accepted showable Varieties of the ACBA/ARBA.

Blue

This color was recently accepted as a variety for all breeds. Dark bluish-grey with matching ears, skin, and feet. The eyes should also be dark.

Dalmation

The Color consists of any one recognized Self, Solid or Agouti color in the form of spots on a white background, with ears and eyes to match corresponding marking color.
